These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NJWebsites.com (https://njwebsites.com) operated by NJ Websites LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Pre-launch status

NJWebsites.com is in pre-launch development with a planned public release in Fall 2026. Some features described on the site — including account registration, new business listings, and paid tools — may not be available yet. We may change, suspend, or remove features during this period without notice.

2. The service

NJWebsites.com is a platform for discovering New Jersey businesses and, when available, for business owners to manage listings and related tools. We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Eligibility and accounts

When account registration opens, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

4. Business listings and content

Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of information in their listings. You may not post false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, or unlawful content. We may remove or modify content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

By submitting content to NJWebsites.com, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the platform.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data in violation of our robots rules or applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site or its infrastructure
  • Impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Upload malware or harmful code

6. Paid features and subscriptions

When paid features become available, additional terms and pricing will apply. Fees, billing cycles, and cancellation policies will be presented before purchase. We may change pricing with reasonable notice where required.

7. Intellectual property

The NJWebsites.com name, logo, site design, software, and original content (excluding user-submitted business content) are owned by NJ Websites LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

8. Third-party services

The site may integrate third-party services (such as Google Sign-In, analytics, or payment processors). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Business listings are provided by business owners or authorized representatives. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legality of any listing or business.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NJ WEBSITES LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NJ Websites LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the site, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the site at any time.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be communicated by email or site notice when appropriate.
